These brands are incredibly durable and their spare parts are everywhere. If you want premium brands like LG or Panasonic, the price jumps to between 450,000 and 550,000 Naira. The biggest advice I can give you is to buy an Inverter AC if you use a prepaid meter. An LG Dual Inverter 1.5HP might cost 550,000 Naira, but it consumes up to 60 percent less electricity than a standard AC. Over a year, the electricity savings will cover the extra cost of the AC. Do not buy from unverified shops in Alaba to avoid refurbished compressors. Buy directly from Fouani (for LG) or Sims (for Samsung/Panasonic).
