My family recently moved into a four-bedroom duplex in Port Harcourt, and we are struggling with the erratic power supply. We have a lot of appliances, including a large double-door refrigerator, a deep freezer, a washing machine, two televisions, and a water pump. My electrician advised me to get a 5KVA system, but the quotes I am getting are massive. I want to know the true 5kva inverter price in nigeria to ensure I am not being overcharged. Is it really worth investing millions into this setup, or should I consider a smaller inverter just for lights and fans while keeping the generator for heavy appliances? A 5KVA system is entirely different from smaller setups because it operates on a 48-Volt architecture. This means you must purchase exactly four 12V batteries connected in series. A quality 5KVA pure sine wave hybrid inverter (like Felicity or Growatt) costs about 450,000 to 600,000 Naira. You will need four 200Ah Tubular batteries, which cost about 250,000 Naira each (totaling 1,000,000 Naira just for batteries). When you add heavy-duty cables, racks, breakers, and installation, your total budget should be between 1.6 Million and 2 Million Naira. This system will easily power your fridge, freezer, water pump, and even one Inverter AC. It completely eliminates the noise and daily fueling stress of a large diesel generator.

Before you finalize your decision based on the 5kva inverter price in nigeria, you must address your power generation source. A 5KVA system with four 200Ah batteries is a massive energy bank.
