Does anyone know the electric cooker price in nigeria for a durable 4-plate standing cooker with an internal oven?

I recently moved into a modern apartment building that strictly prohibits the use of cooking gas cylinders indoors due to fire safety regulations. Therefore, I have no choice but to purchase a fully electric standing cooker. I want a model with 4 hot plates on top and a large baking oven below. I need to know the current electric cooker price in nigeria for reliable brands that will not short-circuit or break down after a few months. Furthermore, I am very concerned about power consumption. Will using an electric cooker and oven drastically increase my prepaid electricity bill? Are induction cookers more energy-efficient than traditional hot plates?

A standard 4-plate electric cooker with a traditional coil or solid cast-iron hot plate and a baking oven costs between 180,000 and 250,000 Naira from brands like Nexus, Scanfrost, or Binatone. However, these traditional hot plates are notoriously slow to heat up and consume massive amounts of electricity. If you want true efficiency, you must look into Induction Cookers. An induction standing cooker uses electromagnetism to heat the pot directly, rather than heating a ceramic surface. It heats up water faster than gas and is highly energy efficient. However, induction standing cookers are rare and expensive, often costing above 350,000 Naira, and they require specialized magnetic cookware.

Regarding power consumption and the electric cooker price in nigeria: You are right to be concerned about your prepaid electricity bill. Electric cookers are massive power consumers.
