The Toyota Venza is arguably one of the most popular crossover SUVs on Nigerian roads today. It looks stylish and offers a very comfortable ride for families. I am looking to buy a 2010 or 2012 model, strictly the 4-cylinder version to save on fuel consumption. I also really want the panoramic sunroof option. What is the authentic venza price in nigeria for a clean tokunbo unit right now? I have heard complaints that the Venza has very weak shock absorbers that wear out quickly on our bad roads, and that the panoramic roof often gets stuck. Are these rumors true, and how much does it cost to replace the shocks?

The standard venza price in nigeria for a clean tokunbo 2010 to 2012 model with a 4-cylinder engine (2.7L) and a panoramic roof is currently between 11 Million and 13.5 Million Naira. The Venza is essentially a Toyota Camry station wagon lifted on high suspension. Because it sits higher, it navigates flooded Lagos streets and speed bumps much better than a sedan. The 4-cylinder engine (1AR-FE) is highly reliable and provides excellent fuel economy for a vehicle of its size. The panoramic roof is highly desirable and adds about 500,000 Naira to the value of the car. However, the rumors about the panoramic roof are true. The rubber seals degrade in the hot Nigerian sun, causing the sunroof tracks to jam. If you force it open, the motor will break. Most Venza owners in Nigeria simply leave the glass roof permanently closed to avoid leaks and expensive repairs.

Do not buy the V6 version of the Venza! The V6 engine is packed so tightly into the engine bay that mechanics have to remove the entire front bumper and engine mounts just to change the rear spark plugs. Stick to the 4-cylinder.

The electric power steering rack on the Venza is prone to making a rattling noise when driving over rough roads. It is a known factory defect. It does not mean the steering will fail, but the noise can be very annoying.
